Hello!

My name is Rachel, I'm fifeen years old and I live in South Australia. I've been a Christian for most of my life but have only been headcovering for around two years.

I have a younger sister who's thirteen and between us we have around 11 chickens, 8 rabbits, and 2 cats.

I am part homeschooled and part correspondence-schooled, the latter of which is called School of the Air here.

My favourite colour is blue and I really don't know what my favourite food is, but I'm not so fond of dessert-type foods.

My favourite verse from the Bible is Psalm 23 and my favourite person in the Bible is (surprise, surprise) Rachel.

It is my hope that girls will join this forum to talk to other like-minded girls.

Hello all! thank you Rachel for letting me on this sight. I am 10 years old and I cover as well. I have 1 dog,7 cats, 2 snails, and a brother, a mother, and a father. I started covering 3-4 months back. My family homeschools and we go to a co-op. there is a Mennontie family in the co-op. I talked to the mothe about covering. I felt covering was right for me. How do you feel about covering?

Hi Rachel and Jordyn! My name is Summer and I'm 12 years old. I live on a small farm in the Southeastern U.S. We have 1 sheep, 2 dogs, 2 cats, 2 fish, about 8 chickens, and a turtle. I'm really nervous because I'm getting braces on Wednesday.

Oh, don't be scared! I don't have any, but my mom did and my brother teeth are SO crooked that it is obvious that he will need some. I will probably need a retainer because only two of my teeth are half crooked. My uncles animals are 8 sheep, 1 cat, 2 dogs, 1 turkey, 15-20 chickens, 5-6 quail, 3 ducks, and 3 boys! :-) I want chickens, are they hard to take care of?

Welcome, Summer! It's good to have you. We now number three!

Don't be worried about the braces (is it Wednesday yet for you? It's three in the afternoon on Wednesday here but I know you are almost an entire day behind me in time). They hurt a bit but most orthodontists are really nice and give you lots of good hints and tips!

I had braces and a plate when I was 8-9 and again when I was 13-14. I still have a bit of wire behind my front four teeth on the top and bottom to keep them straight. It hurts a bit to start with so take lots of panadol for the first few days, and after that you'll barely notice them! When they're adjusted they might hurt a bit for a day or so but not much more.

Chickens aren't very hard to take care of; make sure they have lots of space and feed them at least once a day, make sure they have water, and collect the eggs. That's about it.

Her dad does not let her or anyone else use his computer but him, well that is what she told me. So she is working on it. I gave her one of flyers that i sent you, so she has the address for the site.
Well, Im at my uncle and aunts home, and i have my own laptop! I got it for my birthday last year and it is white and VERY little!
