There are some chores which I don't think of as chores anymore because they're just so automatic, like making my bed. There are also some things which I do every day like chores and I guess some people might think they're chores but I don't, like music practice.
Anyway, things I do during the day:
- wake up.
- make my bed.
- get dressed, brush hair and put in bun, put on covering.
- make & eat breakfast.
- feed and water quails.
- organise schoolwork for the day. What contact lessons do I have? What work needs to be done?
- phone in to lessons where neccessary and complete schoolwork in order of how soon it's due.
- make and eat lunch. Sometimes I prepare lunch for my mother and I; sometimes she does it.
- continue no. 7.
- practice music. Piano and violin. (I've just started violin. It's fun!)
- prepare dinner. I used to do this only once a week or once a fortnight but now I'm doing it two or three times a week.
- feed chickens. Collect eggs.
- clear and set table for dinner.
- put dishes in dish-washer. Because I set the table, I don't have to wash the non-dishwasher things.
- wash myself.
- make sure my schoolroom, bedroom, and the piano area, are tidy.
On Saturdays, I also:
- clean the quail pen.
- hang out the washing.
- vacuum my bedroom and schoolroom.
I think this is just about everything. I think some things, like getting dressed, making and eating breakfast and lunch, organising and doing schoolwork, and practicing piano and violin, don't really count as chores. The chores, to me, are things like filling and emptying the dishwasher, hanging out the washing, vacuuming, and cleaning the quail pen. At least the quails are fairly tidy though. My sister has to clean out her rabbits' pens, and that's rancid! It's disgusting... honestly I think the bottom of a rabbit pen and the septic tank are about the same! Do you have to clean out the bunny pen?
